Recreation Ambassador Full Time & Part Time Positions Available

With additional funding this season, we not only have expanded the number of volunteer weekends, we are also able to hire some support staff!

Anybody looking for a position working at trailheads and river locations this summer season should apply!

The Recreation Ambassador Staff (RAS) seasonal positions play a critical role supporting local recreation and the volunteer Recreation Ambassador program.  Ambassadors on duty will focus on volunteer management, hospitality, resource education, and encouraging compliance.

If you would like to learn more, head over to  the4 posting on the Chamber's website.

Volunteer Recreation Ambassador Applications are Live!

Now celebrating its 5th year in operation, the Leavenworth Chamber's Recreation Ambassador program's application period is now open.

The Recreation Ambassador program aims to provide consistency in staffing and messaging at some of the most heavily used—and, at times, abused—resources, trailheads, and river access locations.

For 2025, ambassadors will staff four of the seven locations every weekend from May 31st to August 31st, 2025.

If your organization is looking to raise additional funds, the $2000 service grant award at the successful completion of a weekend will surely help!

Watch Out for Mailing List Scams!

The Leavenworth Chamber does not give away or sell any contact information or distribution lists of our members.  A scam that uses chambers of commerce is currently circling as an e-mail from a third party soliciting you to buy our list.  This is a scam, pretty much any unsolicited offers to purchase mailing lists are likely fraudulent.

1 Year Anniversary Reception
