Coming Soon: Chamber Member Promotional Calendar
|
We are pleased to share that we have been working on a promotional calendar for our members! Unlike the event calendar that is housed at Leavenworth.org, the new promotional calendar will share things like your sales events, specials, and benefit nights. More information and launch coming soon, in the meantime...
Do you have a promotion between July and the end of the year that you would like us to add so it is visible when the page goes live? If so, contact Membership Manager Dana with the details and to get the criteria.

Last Call for Entertainment Sponsors
|
The highest level of sponsorship with the most inclusions is the Entertainment Sponsorship. Some of the logo inclusions are printed/produced in July. (Specifically, the compostable cups and staff shirts.) Therefore, we are making one last call for 2025 Entertainment Sponsors before July 1st! All other levels are still available after the 1st of July.
To get more details on all pricing levels and a list of inclusions, go to the Oktoberfest Sponsorship page. To purchase a package, simply contact Membership Manager Dana Kemmerling via e-mail.

Recreation Ambassador Program – Weekend Report 6/21 & 6/22
|
- Weekend Summary:
This week six volunteers from the Leavenworth Lions Club staffed the E. Leavenworth Boat Launch, Barn Beach River Access, and Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery boat ramp while two Chamber employees staffed Stuart Lake and Eight Mile Trailheads to gather data and assist recreators. Volunteers and staff reported seeing fewer overall users on the river this weekend, likely due to the cooler temperatures Saturday. Trailheads were busy, with the Stuart Lake Trailhead having around 135 vehicles parked at 11am on Saturday.
Volunteer Impact:
- Visitor Interactions: 766
- Surveys Conducted: 18
- Trash Removed: 5, 30 Gallon Bags
Survey Highlights (18 respondents):
Visitor Origin:
- 100% of hikers surveyed were from out of town
- 60% of River users surveyed were local
Recreation Type:
- Stuart Lake Trailhead saw more than 5x the use of Eightmile Trailhead
- All but one of the hikers surveyed at Stuart Lake Trailhead were hiking to Colchuck Lake
- 50/50 Tubers and Paddleboards/Kayakers
Conditions Reported:
- All river survey respondents said the beaches were clean and there were no issues with facilities
- Trail respondents complained of too much trash in restrooms, but said trails were clear of trash
- River survey respondents complained of trash from fishermen (lures and fishing line, carcasses on boat ramp)
Post-Recreation Plans:
- 75% of hikers planned to visit a restaurant after their float
Transportation & Parking
- None of the river users surveyed had previously heard about the City’s free river shuttle
- All river users surveyed brought two vehicles
We are still looking for non-profits to volunteer for the Weekends of August 2/3 and August 23/24. Please Email Matt @ Recreation@leavenworth.org or apply at Leavenworthchamber.org.

There are three main venues for the festival: the Festhalle, Grange Hall, and the Gazebo. The Festhalle will be used for the competition, concerts, and vendor displays in the foyer. The Grange Hall will be used as the education center. It has two floors: the upper floor will have a performance space for all levels of performers; they will offer workshops, CD sales, sheet music sales, and other vendor displays. The lower level will be used for workshops and free accordion lessons. The Gazebo is a great place to perform outdoors for tourists and accordion friends.
