It's time for a little early spring cleaning! We are excited to offer our members an opportunity to get rid of all those banker boxes and file drawers full of ancient paperwork taking up space in your basements, storage rooms, closets, etc. in an environmentally friendly and secure way!
When: Saturday March 8th
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Where: Chamber Parking Lot, 940 US Hwy 2
What: Sensitive Paper Documents you might be nervous about recycling (Paperclips and staples are fine. Please no large black binder clips, hanging file folders, binders, or plastic.)

Last Week of the Shop Your Heart Out Retail Promotion

Thursday the 27th will be the final day for this retail-focused promotion. Congrats to those members whose receipts we have seen! We hope this is a good upsell technique!

Here is how this gift with purchase promotion works:
- Look for the Shop Your Heart flyer in Chamber member retailer's windows or doors AND/OR pick up or download the Downtown Map. All businesses in the green "Retail" category.
- The downtown walking map can be picked up around town or at the Willkommen Center.
- Purchase, at minimum, $100+ at Chamber member stores in Leavenworth. (You can combine receipts for multiple retailers and Thursdays).
- Bring your receipts to the Visitor/Willkommen Center to *redeem a hand sculpted glass heart!
- Register for additional weekly prizes and future shopping promotions

The Chamber is Funding It Forward!
|
As one of the pillars of the Chamber's Destination Smart Sustainable Tourism Management Plan, our Funding It Forward program offers opportunities for member nonprofits to raise money by volunteering as well as financial support for events not organized by the Chamber, and funding for projects that enhance, restore, or contribute to Leavenworth and the surrounding membership area.
In 2025, the Chamber’s Funding It Forward fund amounts to nearly $150,000, and, at their annual retreat meeting in early February, the Chamber Board approved financial assistance to the following organizations' 2025 destination development projects. The fund does not use membership dues or lodging tax, instead it is made possible by proceeds from the successful execution of the Chamber's annual events
