LEAVENWORTH’S VILLAGE OF LIGHTS FULLY ILLUMINATED AS CHRISTMASTOWN FESTIVITIES CONTINUE

(LEAVENWORTH, Wash.) – Leavenworth’s beloved Village of Lights is shining bright once again, with Christmastown festivities continuing as scheduled throughout the holiday season. Following last week’s severe weather, Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce crews began work on the Front Street Park trees on Sunday. With damage to the lights being less than anticipated, the Village of Lights is now fully illuminated and welcoming visitors back to town.

This morning we were happy put out the above press release sharing the good news that the lights are back up!

 

Additionally, our Chamber Executive Director was live on Q13 this morning and on King 5 this afternoon to share this good news as well.  Barring another major weather event, we are back on track for this weekend. You can find our schedule at Leavenworthchristmastown.org

 

However, the good news comes with some bad. With issues with Highway 2, slides on 1-90 and heavy snow forecasted, it will be difficult for our fellow Washingtonians on the west side to get to us.  Please help us share our Travel Advisories Page that keeps a timeline of events, recovery efforts  as well as quick links to WSDOT Pass and Road Conditions.  

 

Sharing our downtown webcams so people can see what is happening in real time is also helpful for those planning their visit.

THE JEWEL TONES Motown Christmas Show
 
The Jewel Tones are an all-female, Motown-inspired vocal trio who perform hits by The Supremes, The Jackson 5, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Stevie Wonder and many more. These ladies deliver sparkling personality, stellar vocals, fun choreography, and a classic 1960’s look. They are a sparkling homage to the music of Motown, the definitive era of American artistry and soul. Friday & Saturdays Noon - 6:00 pm
Sunday thru Thursday Noon - 4:00 pm

 

*Service is only valid on the day of the purchase from Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce member businesses, receipt required.

We have received the election results from Evergreen Accounting and those candidates that received the most votes and therefore elected to serve a two-year term are:
