Bavarian Bulletin - July 14,  2026 Edition

Media Kits for Oktoberfest can now be accessed via a public Dropbox folder. Here you will currently find fifteen Instagram sized images and fifteen Facebook sized images to download and use.

In that folder there is also a word document with suggested copy to accompany posts which include details about the 2026 event and the hashtags we are using..  Feel free to embellish with your own business hashtags and share what you will be planning for those weekends.

To help support the Recreation Ambassadors that assist at our incredibly busy River and Wilderness Trailhead locations, we have put together two new websites that address these experiences.  Both of these recreation activities can be complex for first time users who don't have all the knowledge.  Because of the impact they can have on our area, they also have a lot more information, details and opportunities to assist that need to be shared with users and the public.

The goal of the websites is to create a gathering place of information and resources, from how to prepare for your hike to what organizations you can volunteer with to assist, in one easy to remember URL.

Recreation Ambassador Weekend Reports are currently being posted to HikeTheEnchantments.org under the menu item "Trail Updates."

_{Reminder when looking below that last Friday was July 3rd, which had 67,000 footfalls.  This past Saturday had about 5,000 more footfalls than Saturday, July 4th!}

REMINDER:  Slowdowns, single-lane closures, pilot cars, and flaggers for most of the month of July but the full closure ends Thursday, July 16, with a detour in place: westbound traffic will be routed onto Chumstick Highway, and eastbound traffic onto State Route 207 and Chumstick Highway.
