Downtown Boom Lift Sign Up
|
Downtown Businesses on pedestrian only Front Street and Commercial between 8th and Division, you are eligible for 3 free hours of the boom lift when you assist with decorating.
We have time slots beginning, Monday, November 3 - 6 and November 10 - 13.
The hours available each day are from 7:30 a.m. ending at 4:00 p.m.
It takes about 2-3 hours on average to complete a building. It also takes two people in the boom to decorate, therefore we have two options:
Option 1 - Someone from your team assists in the boom with decorating. FREE for the first 3 hours, $100 for each additional. (max is 5 hours in one day per business)
Option 2 - Chamber staff decorates for you (you supply the lights).
$100 per hour, maximum 5 hours per day.

2025 Christmastown Gingerbread House Competition

It is time to start preparing your 2025 Christmastown Gingerbread House for our annual competition!
A first, second, and third-place winner will be announced for each category.
- First, second, and third-place winners in the Elementary, Middle, and High School categories will be awarded $100, $75, and $50 respectively.
- First, second, and third-place winners in the adult category will be awarded $500, $250, and $100 respectively.
- First, second, and third-place winners in the non-profit category will be awarded $1,000, $500, and $250 respectively.
- Fan Favorite! Visitors to the Festhalle will vote between Dec 6 - Dec 23, and the winner will be announced on Christmas Eve.

Bavaria Trip in September of 2026

The Chamber is planning another trip to Bavaria!
|
In May of 2025 we witnessed some Maifest activities, this time; Oktoberfests! The goal of this trip is to experience both large and small scale Oktoberfest celebrations across Tirol and Bavaria.
We are putting the finishing touches on the itinerary and will have details soon, be we can share that at this time that trip begins in Munich, ends in Vienna and will be in the latter half of September 2026. Final Call - Chamber Board of Directors

The Chamber Board will be filling three open positions this November during our annual elections. The positions are for two year terms, 2026 and 2027. If interested, a brief interview with the nominations committee will be scheduled in the next few weeks in preparation for a slate of candidates being offered to membership on November 21st.
