Chainsaw Carvers this Weekend!

Experience mountain artistry in action this May 16-17 as talented chainsaw carvers transform raw logs into stunning works of art right before your eyes. Blending strength, precision, and creativity, these live demonstrations celebrate a rugged Northwest tradition with every cut.

Five standout pieces will be on display at participating businesses in our Carvings for Causes promotion after this event (map and info coming soon), and those pieces will be up for auction online. 100% of auction proceeds will benefit local non-profits.

Spring Birdfest May 14-17

The annual Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest promotes conservation through educational and recreational activities about birds, wildlife, and their environments. 

 

Celebrate the return of migratory birds in the midst of peak wildflower season. Enjoy the excitement of birding field trips and workshops, and take part in speaker events, music, visual arts, picnics, and activities for all ages and abilities. 

 

25/26 Chamber Annual Report & Economic Profile Now Available 

The Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce's Annual Report & Economic Profile is now available.  Begun in 2021, the report this year includes expanded information about the Chamber's operations, funding, and events. Contents include:

SBA & FEMA Disaster Assistance Center

FEMA will operate a temporary Disaster Assistance Center at the Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce (940 Highway 2, suite B) with FEMA personnel at that location: 

 

Weekdays, 12:30 – 6pm, May 11 – 22.

FEMA’s assistance is available for individual homeowners and renters in Chelan County. FEMA/SBA deadline for homeowner/renter physical property damage applications is June 10, 2026. FEMA partners with SBA to provide long-term relief for small businesses. SBA deadline for small business applications is January 7, 2027.
