 Bavarian Bulletin - January 20, 2026 Edition

Friday, Saturday & Sunday, January 23-25th, 2026

Fasching is like a German Mardi Gras! We celebrate ours on the last full weekend in January with a Pub Crawl complete with carnival masks, giveaways, and fun specialty drinks and eats at our participating restaurants, bars, and pubs.

With our first holiday weekend for 2026 under our belt, we put together the below graph of footfalls since the last Saturday in December. As you can see, we have fallen short of the amazing January 2025 numbers, and more on par with 2023 & 2024 footfall numbers. 

We’re excited to bring back our February “Love from Leavenworth” promotions to help drive business during the winter season, and we’d love your participation!

Below is an overview of what we’re planning and how you can get involved:

February Promotions – Open to All Members

• Online Giveaways Calendar (28 Days of Giveaways)
  We’ll purchase prizes directly from local businesses and feature them as daily giveaways throughout February, culminating in a grand-prize trip to Leavenworth.
  Priority will be given to businesses that were not featured in the December Advent Calendar or recent contests.
• Valentine’s Gift Guide
  Feature your Valentine’s Day merchandise in our online Marketplace.
  Must have an online store to participate.
• February Packages & Promotions
  Have a special package, promotion, or offer in February? Let us help promote it!
• February Events
  We want to highlight all the great events happening in February. If you haven’t submitted your events yet, please do so here!

Retail-Only Promotion

• Shop Your Little Heart Out in Leavenworth (Gift-with-Purchase Promotion)
  • Shop on Thursdays: February 5, 12, 19, or 26
  • Spend $100+ at participating Leavenworth retailers, and we will provide a flyer for your window. (Receipts may be combined across multiple stores and on Thursdays)
  • Bring receipts to the Visitor/Willkommen Center to redeem a hand-sculpted glass heart*
  • Participants will also be entered for weekly prizes
