Recreation Ambassador Weekend Report

We are midway through our Recreation Ambassador program for the season. If you want to keep up to date, visit HikeTheEnchantments.org where we post the weekend reports regarding conditions at the river locations and trailheads in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness.
Our ambassadors reported a busy weekend with 2,546 interactions. Both River and Forest locations were fully staffed Saturday and Sunday. The Upper Valley Historical Society covered the three Forest Service locations (Icicle Gorge, Eightmile Trailhead, and Colchuck/Stuart Lake Trailhead). The Leavenworth Lions Club covered the three River locations (Barn Beach, East Leavenworth Boat Launch, and the Bridge River Access/Icicle Bridge Put-in).

Media Kits for Oktoberfest can now be accessed via a public Dropbox folder. Here you will currently find fifteen Instagram sized images and fifteen Facebook sized images to download and use.
In that folder there is also a word document with suggested copy to accompany posts which include details about the 2026 event and the hashtags we are using.. Feel free to embellish with your own business hashtags and share what you will be planning for those weekends.
